Jaipur Gangaur festival will be going to start in the March or April months. The festival is excitedly celebrated at Rajasthan including Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Bikaner and Nathdwara. Gangaur festival is held in the honor of the goddess Parvati. This Gangaur festival has particular importance for women who worship idol of "Gan" & "Gauri" in their house. Unmarried girls also pray for a good husband, while married girls pray for the extended life and good health of their husbands. At the end, on the last day of these festivals idols are wrapped up in a lake or pond.
