Day 01: Arrival in Delhi

Four Nights Golden Triangle TourAfter getting refreshed, you will set out your half day sightseeing tour in Old Delhi. This modern capital of India draws millions of tourists for its historical monuments which tell the saga of the rise and fall of many dynasties. First you will visit the Red Fort, and then the Jama Masjid located in close proximity to Red Fort. It is from Red Fort that the President addresses the nation on the Republic Day. Both Red Fort and Jama Masjid were built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Walk past busy markets of Chandi Chowk. Then enjoy the light and sound show programme at Red Fort.

Day 02: Delhi - Agra (203 km - 4 hours)

Golden Triangle Qutub Minar Tour DelhiPost breakfast, you will tour New Delhi. Drive past the Rastrapati Bhawan, one of the colonial monuments of Delhi. Visit India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, National Gallery, Lotus Temple, etc. Then check out the hotel and drive to Agra city. It takes almost 4 hours to reach Agra from Delhi by a car. Your lunch will be served on a highway restaurant. Then continue drive and at Sikandra explore the Tomb of Emperor Akbar.

Reaching Agra, take the hotel. Then visit the Agra Fort, one of the masterpieces of Mughal architecture. There are palaces, halls, gardens inside the fort. Akbar started the construction of the fort and it was completed by Shah Jahan. Akbar had fondness for music, literature and dance. His court musician was Tansen. The interiors of the palaces are decorated with stone carvings and other Mughal arts.

Then visit the Itmad-ud-Daulah's Tomb which is the first tomb made out of marble. Nur Jahan, the third wife of Jehangir built this tomb in memory of her father. Then explore the markets of Agra. You can pick up souvenirs for your near and dear ones. After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 03: Agra - Jaipur (221 km - 4 and half hours)

Jaipur was once the capital of the princely states of Jaipur. The royal families of Jaipur had a friendly relation with Mughal king Akbar. Jaipur is the first planned city of India built by the Sawai Jai Singh. Today you just have a view of the pink city. After a theme dinner, stay overnight.

Day 04: Jaipur Sightseeing

Today in the early morning you will tour the Amber Fort and the Jaigarh Fort. Amber was once the capital of Amer princely state and it was later shifted to Jaipur. The most thrilling experience at Amber Fort is sure to the elephant ride. After Amber Fort visit, explore the largest canon on Wheels at Jaigarh Fort.

Then come back to the city and have lunch. After lunch tour the Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Albert Hall Museum, Astronomical observatory and the temples and gardens. Jaipur is itself fantastic; you can have nice time even without exploring anything. The markets of Jaipur are paradise for the shoppers. You can buy jewelry, carpets, stone carvings, paintings, etc.

In the evening you will be taken to a theme restaurant Choki Dhani. Here you see and feel the diverse Rajasthani art and culture. Enjoy folk dance and music programme. Then savor a typical Rajasthani dish. Then come back to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 05: Jaipur - Delhi (258 kms - 6 hours)

On the concluding day of Golden Triangle tour itinerary, drive back to Delhi. If you have time you can do your last day shopping in Delhi. Then our representative will transfer you timely to the airport.
