Day-01: Arival in Delhi

Go Heritage India Journeys representative will welcome you at the Delhi International Airport to your most speculated Golden Triangle Tour Package. Then escort to the hotel and check in. If you arrive in the morning flight you get enough time to explore a part of Delhi.

After getting refreshed, gear up for your half day sightseeing in Delhi. Delhi, the national capital of India is a flamboyant city of India caught up in its ancient roots and modern life. As it is the political hub of the country, Delhi is the most developed city of India. We can say it the face of modern India as well as of the third world countries. In each street and place you see full spirit of life.

Today you will be taken to the Old Delhi part of Delhi where you will see a different Delhi full of tradition and spirit. Old Delhi is home to various prominent personalities of past. The havelis and the zigzag roads will thrill you. You feel here an old village of Delhi lost in the hustle and bustle of city life.

First visit the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque of Asia built by Shah Jahan. Then explore the majestic Red Fort and the architecture. How cunningly the Mughals built it. Flock the Chandi Chowk market and purchase some antique things. This market is always full of life. Till the time of the Light and Sound Show programme walk past the roads of the market. At the scheduled time come to the Red Fort again and enjoy the Light and sound show which dramatically enacts the history of Delhi. At the end of the Golden Triangle Tour have dinner at an outside restaurant and then back to the hotel.
After dinner, stay overnight.

Day-02: Delhi - Agra (204 kms)

Post breakfast, get ready for your half day sightseeing in Delhi. New Delhi is designed by Lord Lutyen; among the colonial buildings Rastrapati Bhawan draws the attention of the tourists. It is once the residence of the Viceroy during the British Raj. First you drive past the Rastrapati Bhawan, the head of the home of the World’s largest democracy. Then you tour the India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, and Qutub Minar. If you an art freak, do visit the National Museum, Doll’s Museum.

Then proceed towards Agra. Enroute have your lunch. Before reaching Agra city centre you will stop for a while at Sikandra to explore the Tomb of Emperor Akbar. The tomb is an architectural marvel of the Mughals and it fuses motifs of Hindu, Jain, Buddhist and Islamic.

Reaching Agra, take the hotel. Then visit the majestic Agra Fort which covers an area of 2.5 kms. One of the major forts built by the Mughals, Agra Fort houses various palaces and halls inside it. The man behind the Taj Mahal, Shah Jahan was imprisoned by his son at Agra Fort; Shah Jahan passed his last tragic days staring at the Taj Mahal.

Then visit the Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb and then go on a shopping spree. After Mughlai dinner stay overnight at the hotel.

Day-03: Agra - Jaipur (250 kms)

On the 3^rd day of your Golden Triangle tour itinerary, you will see the Taj Mahal in the early morning at the sunrise time. Explore Taj today. Pass a few minutes inside Taj.

Then back to the hotel and check out. Drive to Jaipur, the pink city of Rajasthan. Enroute visit the Mughal monuments located at Fatehpur Sikri, a World Heritage Site.

When you reach Jaipur you will be accommodated at a Jaipur hotel by our representative. Jaipur, one of the royal cities of the Golden Triangle tour is the city which keeps the picture of Rajput royalty. The romance and spirit of the city can be felt when you walk past the roads of the pink city. You have less time today. So, visit the City palace and its museum, Hawa Mahal, the astronomical observatory Jantar Mantar built by the Sawai Man Singh II.

The monuments are built from pink sandstone, so Jaipur is called the pink city. From telephone booths to royal forts, you will see everywhere pink beauty. After the sightseeing explore the colorful bazaars of Jaipur. The textiles, leatherwear, paintings, pottery, carpets all lure your mind. Return back to the hotel. Have a shower. Then you will be taken to an ethnic restaurant for theme dinner. Enjoy folk dance and music programme. Then stay overnight at the hotel.

Day-04: Jaipur - Delhi-Departure

Early morning you will be driven to Amber Fort, once the capital city of the Rajput kings. This fort is one of the majestic forts of Rajasthan. The architecture of the fort is a fusion of Hindi and Mughal architecture.
