Delhi Restaurants - Where to Eat in Delhi

Delhi has a rich cuisine culture which has been developed and changed during the ages. Influenced by the foreign invaders-Turks, Afghans, Mughals, and British, Delhi cuisine has been enriched and its cuisine is also varied like its population. In Delhi, all regional cuisine of Indian states are found. Tourist while visiting Delhi to explore its rich historical and cultural heritage can dine at some of the old restaurants of Delhi along with the modern multi-cuisine restaurants.

Delhi has lots of restaurants from traditional ethnic Indian to western multi-cuisine. There are several roadside stalls in Pahar Ganj, Palika Bazaar and Jan path, and western international brand food eateries like the reputed Wimpy, McDonald's, Pizza Express, TGIF and Pizza Hut.

The traditional Indian restaurants serve both Mughlai and North Indian cuisine and one can relish on the lip-smacking multi-cuisine at the hotel restaurants. The five star hotels of Delhi have some of the best of the restaurants and bars and lounges. The Old Delhi area of Delhi has some of the old restaurants which serve street Indian delicacies.

Connoisseurs can savor the Mughlai cuisine prepared by the legendary chefs at the famous and old restaurants of Delhi like Karim Restaurant and Moti Mahal. The chefs of these two restaurants get the tradition of Mughlai cuisine from their forefathers.
